1. Introduction

1.1 The Zero10 ‘Open Call’ is a contest to unite 3D designers and incentivize creativity through healthy competition through cash prizes. Winning works will also enjoy their work being featured in the Zero10 mobile application and other Zero10 channels. The Zero10 ‘Open Call’ competition will be conducted exclusively online via the competition website.

2. Eligibility and Entry Conditions

2.1 Entrants must be at least 18 years old as of entry.

2.2 Participation in the competition is not allowed where local laws prohibit. Entrants agree that this competition shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the forum for any dispute shall be the federal and state courts in New York, United States of America. To the extent permitted by law, the right to litigate, to seek injunctive relief, or to make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this competition are hereby ceded, and any entrant expressly waives any and all such rights.

2.3 Applications for entry into the competition must be submitted no later than the deadline for accepting applications indicated on the competition page.

2.4 The Zero10 team will screen all applications. The decision to reject an entry is final and irrevocable

2.5 All works submitted to the competition must comply with the technical requirements and all terms and conditions stipulated herein to be considered for admittance. Zero10 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entries that fail to adhere to terms and conditions, even a er such entries may have successfully initially passed screening and moderation.

2.6 Entrants consent to Zero10’s collection, processing, storage, and use of submitted personal data, including name and e-mail address, to organize and conduct this competition. Entrants may request to review, correct, or delete their data stored by zero10 At any time by writing to Zero10’s support email address.

3. Application Process

3.1 Zero10 will start accepting applications on July 8 via the competition website. Submissions for the contest will be received for two weeks beginning on July 8, with the last day for accepting submissions being July 27. Entrants will be asked to submit information including but not limited to given names, e-mail addresses, social media handles, and the 3D model digital files to be evaluated for entry.

3.2 Upon applying, Entrants will receive an email containing a detailed description of the technical requirements and a link where the participant can download their work.

4. Moderation

4.1 The Zero10 team will check submitted work for adherence to the technical requirements and the terms of the competition. During the moderation process, the Zero10 team reserves the right to deny entry at its sole judgment and discretion.

4.2 Entries that satisfy the technical requirements specified will be accepted into the competition.

4.3 Entrants whose work did not pass the initial screening will be contacted via email and offered a specified number of days, at Zero10’s discretion, to revise their work for reconsideration

5. Voting

5.1 All works admitted to the competition will be published on the competition website and be eligible for voting by members of the general public.

5.2 Voting will start on July 28 and will be open for ten days with a closing date of August 7.

5.3 At the end of the voting period, three winning entries will be nominated. Winning entries will be selected based on the number of votes cast on the official competition website and the opinion of technical experts.

5.4 Voting will be open to all visitors to the site via their Facebook or Google accounts.

5.5 Each voter can submit only one vote per entry but can vote for any number of entries.

Votes cannot be reversed.

5.6 Winning entries will be announced on Zero10 channels online two (2) weeks a er the end of the voting period.

5.7 In 8, 10 and 12 days a er the vote, Zero10’s 3D team will finalize the winner’s file, and, at the request of winning contestants, apply visual effects on the item in accordance with their creative ideas. The final 3D designs will be published on the Zero10 app and website.

6. Winners and Prizes

6.1 The prizes for winning entries are as follows.

  1. US$1000 cash prize within 30 days of receiving banking information subject to transactional fees.

  2. Publishing and featuring the winning works in the zero10 app and on Zero10 social channels.

6.2 The transfer of the right to the Prize to another person is not allowed. Requests to substitute designated prizes for merchandise or other compensation are not allowed and will not be accommodated.

7. Copyright and Plagiarism

7.1 Concerning entries you submit to the competition, you warrant that:

  1. You are the sole copyright owner of the work and the creator of the work.

  2. To the best of your knowledge, the content of the work does not violate any law or anyone’s rights and is not threatening, false, misleading, offensive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, objectionable, provocative, pornographic, or profane.

  3. To the best of your knowledge, the work’s content does not encourage conduct that could be considered a criminal offense, give rise to a civil action, or otherwise violate the law.

  4. The Work does not infringe the copyright, trademark, contract rights, or other intellectual property rights of any third party or organization, and the Work does not contain:

      1. Trademarks that are owned by third parties.

      2. Copyrighted materials owned by third parties.

      3. Names, images, or other characteristics that identify celebrities or other public figures, living or dead.

    1. Entrants agree to fully indemnify Zero10 for all possible damages, including but not limited to royalties, fees, and other monies payable to any third party due to the entrant’s violation of the copyright and plagiarism conditions above.

    2. Zero10 acknowledges that you retain full copyright in every work submitted to the competition.

8. Publicity and Promotion

8.1 Entrants agree that all works submitted to the competition may be reproduced (with attribution) and used to promote this contest, other Zero10 competitions, and other Zero10 marketing efforts and materials.

8.2. Entrants agree that all works submitted to the competition may be made available on the Zero10 app wherein users of the aforementioned app may reproduce, transmit, share or otherwise freely use the submitted works as multi-media content, subject to accordant copyright laws.

8.2 Entrants agree to participate in promotional campaigns and authorize the use of their names and works for the purposes of advertising, promoting, and marketing the Zero10 platform with no expectation or right to compensation.
